I-Forever is pleased to announce that retired Airforce Colonel Andrew Szmerekovsky has joined its Board of Directors. His twenty years of experience as an aerospace engineer with an Airforce carrier makes him the perfect member of a board focused on expanding the human experience in space.
The I-Forever mission to take 100 million DNA samples and stories into space sparked his and others’ interest in space exploration. Most important to them is the company’s mission to include those who would not normally be able to participate in a space program. For each paying member, one additional person will be selected to join the space journey for free.
Ken Fanger, Creative Founder of I-Forever, explains, “We wanted to create a community focused on us all getting into space. It’s so important to include people who wouldn’t normally participate in these programs. It needs to be more than just rich people enjoying space, we need to encourage everyone to be a part of the human space experience.”
Colonel Szmerekovsky says: “I am delighted to be part of this program. I like that it encourages kids to explore STEM and it could appeal to so many people.”
The vision of I-Forever is to have a space capsule sent out of Earth orbit. They do this to protect the orbital space around Earth from pollution and not to contribute to the “space junk” floating around our planet or polluting the moon.
